About the book

First novel in the planned five part TChildren of the Valley' series for older children. Tells the story of a girl, boy, Mopoke, Possum and Collector Desert Wind and their search for the maker of the music from the sea. The author wrote TRainstones', which was shortlisted for the 1992 Children's Book of the Year.
